About Us

Our Identity

Our identity is really both an identity and a vision. It is who, by God's grace, we are; and it is who, by God's grace, we are becoming. We are a gospel-community on mission. This means Pembroke is about three simple things:

Believe in Jesus {gospel}. We seek to make God's work for us in Jesus Christ the foundation and "dwelling place" of all that we think, say, and do, both individually and corporately.

Love one another {community}. We are a warm, friendly, and culturally diverse community of believers. We realize that Christianity is not a "do it yourself" project, and neither is the church a "do it yourself" warehouse. We seek to live life together.

Serve the world {mission}. We are serious about God's mission to seek and save the lost. Our aim is serve the world by making disciples, planting churches, and reaching the nations.
